Do You Fan Your Own Flame?

April 19, 2016

This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. 2 Timothy 1:6 (NLT)

The Revival We pray for starts in us and is ignited by Jesus the Reviver and as we carry His presence and we will give Him greater Glory.

We must fan our own flame we should and do carry revival in us and cause others to want to burn for Jesus.

We must stay positioned in His Presence. I believe to be truly effective in my life and to stay on mission I must first make sure that I continually seek to know God More.

What Are You Doing To Fan Your Own Flame ?

Blessings Steve

I really love the song by United Pursuit " Find My Own Flame "

the words are like a prayer that fans the flame in me.

I don't wanna ride on somebody else's passion
I don't wanna find that I am just dry bones
I wanna burn with unquenchable fire deep down inside see it coming alive

Help me find my own flame, help me find my own fire, I want the real thing, I want Your burning desire

In my heart tonight lord do what only You can do

I also liked this excerpt by James Maloney

Indeed, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” (Romans 8: 19) So get on fire!

Just like Elijah asked, “How long will you falter between two opinions?” (1 Kings 18: 21) He drew a line in the sand, “If I can prove to you the Lord is God, and not Baal, follow Him.” And how is this proven? “… The God who answers by fire, He is God.” (Verse 24)

You can’t say you love Him and not obey Him. You can’t say you know Him and treat Him as a pauper. You can’t say He’s Lord and leave His presence.

You cannot shirk the fire of His anointing.

Quit faltering and get to burning !
