Using My Keys To The Kingdom

January 25, 2016

I was given a gift the other day by a dear friend, it is an old leather box and when I opened it up I found that it was a collection of special keys of different sizes and shapes. I was really blessed by the gift as I knew that someone had taken the time to make the box and to put them on display as it was a little treasure to them. When I look at them I can’t help but wonder what kind of doors did they open? Did the small ones open books or special boxes? Keys have always had significance as we know they are meant for securing something with a lock, door or gate and those who have the keys have access to any of those places. So as I look at these keys, I don’t know where the door, gate book or special place they open but if I did they would give me access.

I have a love for older keys as they are great reminders to me that we have been given the keys to the kingdom of heaven by the lord and so we can access or enter any place we have a key to. When read psalm 25:2 I love that God is not hiding things from us as it might seem, He is hiding them for us so that we will seek Him out. Which Key opens this door lord? We know we are called to go from glory to glory so do we have a key to reveal another facet of God glory and goodness?

I believe we have keys to step into Supernatural realms of  God that we have yet to discover because we have not spent the time with Him.

Here is what my desire and passion is for this year, to spend more time getting to Know the lord and truly know how to move to the rhythm of His heart beat.

I have the keys to the kingdom and I want to access the realm where just as the lord did for Moses, He would do for me. I am praying and pursuing the lord to show me His glory and let His Goodness pass before me.

How about you? what are you going to do with your keys to the kingdom?

Proverbs 25:2 (ESV)

2 It is the glory of God to conceal things,

but the glory of kings is to search things out.

Matthew 16:19The Message (MSG)

19 “And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 (MSG)

16-18 Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We’re free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.

Exodus 33:18-19 Names of God Bible (NOG)

18 Then Moses said, “Please let me see your glory.”

19 Yahweh said, “I will let all my goodness pass in front of you, and there I will call out my name ‘Yahweh.’ I will be kind to anyone I want to. I will be merciful to anyone I want to
